Prime Football Academy, based at Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi, focuses on long-term player development.
Led by co-founder and director of sport Mark Wareing, the football academy delivers structured training for young players across all age groups.
Wareing’s coaching philosophy is simple: if a child enjoys football, progress comes naturally. The academy starts with players as young as six, building a strong foundation in ball control, movement, and confidence. Early sessions are designed to keep players engaged while developing key skills.
“We’re shaping players for football and for life”
As players move through age groups, training becomes more advanced. Sessions combine technical drills with match scenarios. Players learn how to think under pressure, make decisions, and understand the game tactically. The aim is to create well-rounded players who are confident on the ball and can read the game.

The coaching team works consistently with players across multiple seasons. This continuity helps players progress steadily and build strong relationships with their coaches. Many players stay with the academy for several years, moving up through the ranks.
Prime Football Academy has achieved success in regional tournaments and leagues. But Wareing emphasises development over short-term results. The coaching staff focus on discipline, teamwork, and leadership alongside football skills.
“We’re shaping players for football and for life,” Wareing says. “Every player learns how to work hard, respect others, and contribute to a team.”
For parents, Prime Football Academy offers a structured environment where young players can train seriously and enjoy the game. The academy provides a clear development pathway supported by experienced coaches.
Enrollment is open throughout the year. Training is held at Zayed Sports City.
