Kalba’s Ahmed Hassan has been crowned champion of the fifth edition of the eUAE Pro League, following an intense two-day tournament held at Pixoul in Abu Dhabi’s Al Qana project.

Tariq Ali Al Shabibi, board member of the UAE Pro League, officially awarded Hassan the trophy after his standout performance. With this victory, Hassan not only claims the national title but also secures an opportunity to qualify for the prestigious EA SPORTS FC Pro international competitions, where he will compete against some of the world’s top esports players.

Past Champion Settles for Third

Ahmed Al-Suwaidi, who represented Al Ain and won last year’s edition, finished third in this year’s tournament. Despite his strong showing, he could not replicate his previous success.

The prize fund reflected the high stakes of the event, with Hassan taking home AED 15,000. The runner-up received AED 10,000, while Al-Suwaidi earned AED 5,000 for his third-place finish.

A Festival of Virtual Football

The championship, organised by the UAE Pro League in collaboration with EA SPORTS, formed part of the broader EA SPORTS FC Pro ecosystem — the global competitive structure linked to the iconic football video game series.

Each season, players representing real-world UAE clubs battle it out on the virtual pitch for a chance to bring pride to their teams and advance onto the international stage.

Fans unable to attend in person were able to catch the action live, with matches streamed across the UAE Pro League’s official Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok channels, highlighting the growing popularity of esports within the region.
