Following our preview of the Ice Warrior Challenge, the 16th edition of Dubai’s signature snow-based fitness event delivered a high-energy contest at Ski Dubai. More than 560 athletes from 69 countries, including 194 Emiratis, competed in the region’s toughest indoor obstacle course.
Set in –4°C temperatures, the 28-obstacle course challenged competitors’ strength, endurance, and coordination with rope climbs, cold water plunges, and steep ramp ascents.
Elite Division – Dominant Performances
In the Elite Fitness category, Hallvard Borsheim of Norway led the men’s field with a time of 00:31:02. Alisher Nazarov (00:36:29) and Rich Zielinski (00:37:33) completed the podium.
Among the elite women, Michala Radomska finished first in 00:56:04, followed by Forough Shakiba at 01:13:52.
