One of the world’s most iconic endurance events is set to make its Middle East debut. The Hood to Coast Relay—dubbed the “Mother of All Relays” will land in Dubai on January 10, 2026, promising a unique blend of athleticism and natural beauty.

First held in Oregon, USA in 1982, the Hood to Coast relay has grown into the world’s largest relay series, drawing over 80,000 runners annually across its global editions.

Now, Dubai joins this prestigious list of host cities, offering a 100-kilometre desert route that combines physical challenge with sweeping desert scenery. Teams of three to five runners, supported by a single 4×4 vehicle, will navigate through some of the city’s most stunning natural reserves, including Al Marmoom Conservation Reserve, Al Qudra Lake, and the Dubai Solar Park.
