The UAE men’s national team will wear a new playing kit at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 after unveiling the jersey in Dubai on Saturday night.
The launch came a day before the squad departs for Chennai, where they open their Group D campaign next week. Team partners StarTrader and Bisleri were represented at the event, along with Emirates Cricket Board board member Zayed Abbas and ICC associate members chair Mubashshir Usmani.
The jersey features gold detailing and a sand-dune pattern across the front, drawing on colours and landscapes associated with the UAE. The design will be used throughout the tournament.
Captain Muhammad Waseem and batter Alishan Sharafu were among the players present at the unveiling.
The UAE squad for the tournament is: Muhammad Waseem (captain), Alishan Sharafu, Aryansh Sharma (wicketkeeper), Dhruv Parashar, Haider Ali, Harshit Kaushik, Junaid Siddique, Mayank Kumar, Muhammad Arfan, Muhammad Farooq, Muhammad Jawadullah, Muhammad Zohaib, Rohid Khan, Sohaib Khan and Simranjeet Singh.
UAE begin their Group D fixtures against New Zealand in Chennai on February 10. They then face Canada on February 13 in Delhi, Afghanistan on February 16 in Delhi, and South Africa at the same venue on February 18.
