In a major boost for professional wrestling in the Middle East, WrestleFest DXB and WrestlingME Academy have launched the Dubai Wrestling Dojo — the region’s first elite pro wrestling development program, officially accredited by the Dubai Sports Council.
The initiative marks a significant step in the evolution of wrestling in the UAE, offering a structured and professional route for aspiring athletes who dream of stepping into the ring on an international stage.
The Dubai Wrestling Dojo will operate as an advanced-level training ground, exclusively for graduates of the WrestlingME Academy. To gain entry, students must complete the Academy’s full curriculum — from beginner to advanced levels — ensuring only the most committed and skilled individuals move forward.
Those accepted into the Dojo will earn a chance to participate in official WrestleFest DXB tryouts, appear on live wrestling events, and gain exposure to global scouts and promotions.
Samir Nassif, founder of WrestlingME Academy said;
“This step ensures that every student has a transparent pathway from their first class to potential global opportunities. The Dojo represents dedication, discipline, and the chance to turn ambition into achievement.”
Building a Path from Passion to Profession
The launch of the Dubai Wrestling Dojo reflects a growing appetite for wrestling in the region and a clear intent to turn Dubai into a global hub for emerging talent. The program creates a three-stage development model:
- WrestlingME Academy – Entry-level training for beginners
- Dubai Wrestling Dojo – Elite development for aspiring pros
- WrestleFest DXB – The platform to perform on a professional stage
The partnership between WrestleFest DXB and WrestlingME Academy positions the Middle East to compete in one of the world’s most demanding and theatrical sports.
The Dubai Wrestling Dojo serves as a proving ground for local talent with global potential.
