UAE at the Heart of Global Jiu-Jitsu
Organised by Abu Dhabi Jiu-Jitsu Pro (AJP), the event showcased the UAE’s role in developing jiu-jitsu at both grassroots and elite levels. The high level of competition and strong community support showed the event’s importance for athletes working toward international success.
Zayd Eagleton, Operations Manager at International Vision Sports Management, praised the quality of the tournament.
“The AJP Asia Continental Jiu-Jitsu Championship has solidified its position as one of the most prominent tournaments on the international stage,” said Eagleton. “It brought together elite professional athletes from black, brown, and purple belts, who delivered high-level performances that underscored their readiness to reach the podium.”
He added that the tournament plays a key role in the AJP calendar by awarding ranking points that help athletes qualify for the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship.
